Dr. Sanja Marinkovic-Dobric, O.D.
Dr. Dobric has over 15 years of experience working as an optometrist in New Jersey. Dr. Dobric strives to provide the best, most personalized care for you and your family. Along with providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children she manages glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, dry eye and other ocular conditions. She has extensive experience in fitting multifocal and toric contact lenses and always offers her patients the latest in contact lens technology.
Dr. Dobric completed her undergraduate studies in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 2008.
Dr. Dobric lives in Union County with her husband, two young daughters and a very old cat. In her spare time she enjoys cooking with her daughters, traveling and tending to her garden. She’ll be happy to share some eye healthy recipes that everyone in the family is likely to enjoy.

Born and raised on Staten Island, I have been working in the optical industry for the past 17 years. I genuinely enjoy helping people find a pair of glasses they'll love.
In my leisure time, I stay actively engaged with my church community, serving as a licensed minister at FCBC in Staten Island and as a board member at the Central Family Life Center. One of my proudest achievements as a board member is participating in a program that provides free eye exams for children before they start school.
I graduated from Anthem University in 2006 with an associate degree in medical billing and science terminology.

I began working in the industry in 2018 and quickly developed a passion for helping people see. It wasn’t until I saw a pair of glasses being dispensed to a little boy who turned to his mom and said, “Mommy, I can see you!” that I felt truly captivated. That moment inspired me to want to experience that same joy with every pair of glasses I dispense.
My role is not just about fitting lenses—it's about engaging with people, learning their unique needs, and providing them with the best possible solution. Combining my growing expertise in optics with genuine conversations, I find immense joy in matching each person with lenses and frames that enhance their vision and improve their daily life. Each pair of glasses I dispense is a step towards making someone’s world a little brighter and clearer.

With over 15 years of expertise in optical care, I am dedicated to providing top-notch service and enhancing the vision of our patients. As an optical technician, I thrive on challenges and am always looking for new lens enhancements to betters serve our patients. My passion for eye care drives me to constantly seek opportunities for learning and growth in the field.
In my spare time I enjoy growing rare plants and spending time with my cat.
